For 60 years, the U.S. blo­cka­de of Cuba has­n’t been a pas­si­ve sanc­tion, but an acti­ve act of war by hun­ger. Now, Washing­ton is tigh­tening the screws again, aiming to break Cuba’s revo­lu­tio­na­ry pro­ject by star­ving its peo­p­le into submission.

 

We, La Via Cam­pe­si­na, the world’s lar­gest move­ment of peasants, fishers, land­wor­kers, and food pro­du­cers who feed the world — refu­se to look away while our bel­oved peo­p­le suf­fer coll­ec­ti­ve punishment.
